This Full Cape Cod House was designed from one of the three styles of Cape Cods. The Full Cape has two windows on each side of the door. It has clapboarding on the front and cedar shakes on the sides. This is a four-room house with a front hall. The staircase and fireplace are included. We have added a shed roof dormer giving this house a raised roof look.
The kit includes all materials needed to finish the interior and exterior of the house completely.
The structural pieces are laser cut out of 1/8” birch plywood. The kit includes the base, two floors that are etched to resemble hardwood flooring, 2 interior walls, and parts for two dormers. The exterior walls are grooved where the floors slide in and the corners of the walls and roof pieces are tabbed and notched for easy assembly. The exterior materials include precut siding, cedar shakes, shingles, railings, a chimney, and corner trims. The interior materials include wallpaper, wainscoting, materials for beamed ceilings, baseboards, cove moldings, staircase, and trims for the edges of the walls and floors. Also included are all laser-cut parts for doors, window casings, window frames, shutters, Plexiglas, and window boxes. Landscaping materials include grass, gravel, bushes, foliage for window boxes, and 2 bags of flowers; one with mixed flowers for window boxes, and one color for bushes. Last but not least each ¼” house kit comes with a piece of felt for the bottom of the base in order to avoid scratching the service it is displayed on.
